Serguei Sofinski, CEO

Joining Intermedia in 1998, Sofinski has led the company’s rapid growth into the world’s leading provider of business email services. Starting in product management, he served as Intermedia’s VP of Operations, then as COO, before assuming his current role of CEO in 2006. With over a decade of experience in the software industry, Sofinski’s wide range of knowledge, from the product and technical side to operations and business development, has helped Intermedia to see continuous growth, year after year. Sofinski also serves as a thought leader, lending his expertise to the software and services industry as a whole. Sofinski holds a BS in geophysics from State Maritime Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Johnathan McCormick, COO

As Vice President, Operations, McCormick manages all Intermedia hosting operations and all operations staff. Prior to joining the team at Intermedia, Jonathan was employed as the SVP of Operations and Client Services for SAVVIS, a global provider of managed hosting, network and collocation facilities. In this capacity he was responsible for the management of all operations and customer service organizations globally. He has significant experience in rapid growth companies, which means he is eager to help Intermedia continue to provide great service while keeping up with its rapid growth.

Robert E. Leibholz, Vice President of Sales
and Business Development

As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Bob Leibholz oversees Intermedia’s sales and business development activities as well as key partnerships. In past positions at companies such as ASCAP and The Harry Fox Agency, Inc., Leibholz led licensing, sales and client relationship disciplines. Long a technology-focused business executive, he has been the chief driver for numerous technology projects, including an industry-wide digital rights management system, Inquiry Management System and many Web-based client-facing applications. He also served as editor of the courseware for the American Management Associate course, The Art and Discipline of Managing Software Projects. Before entering the business world, Bob had a successful career as a concert violinist, serving as concertmaster of several orchestras.

Andrew Gachechiladze, Vice President of Product
Development and Engineering

Gachechiladze leads the product development and engineering groups of Intermedia. With the company since 2001, he has been a product manager and, since early 2006, vice president of engineering. Prior to Intermedia, he was a software developer at ThinkWave, the California-headquarted software company, and at KomiEximBank in Moscow, Russia. He holds a degree in microprocessor systems from Tbilisi State University.

Brent Rich, Director of Technical Operations

As Director of Technical Operations, Brent Rich oversees the senior support staff responsible for the daily and ongoing hosting operations.  Prior to joining the team at Intermedia, Brent was employed as the Director of Application Engineering for SAVVIS, a global provider of managed hosting, network and collocation facilities.  His responsibilities included research, development and productizing of new applications for SAVVIS’ product and service offerings.  Previous to being part of the Engineering department he managed the US Microsoft Operations team responsible for the daily administration of SAVVIS’ hosted solutions.  His experience in Operations and Engineering brings considerable value to Intermedia in how we support our rapid growth without sacrificing the quality of service being provided to our customers.
